When the shadows grow long and the winds blow cold, the Post-Meridian Radio Players pry open the creaking gates to unleash tales of horror and woe upon the peoples of Boston. These chilling tales and dark morality plays are known as Tomes of Terror.

But this time the demented stories may be from your own pen! PMRP is calling for original submissions to grace this Halloween’s production: Tomes of Terror: New Arrivals! Geeky Fun
Greetings All!
Thanks to everyone for a fantastic 2011 season!

We brought the Starship of Madness to Boston, twice!
We had murder, drunken astronauts and Legions Of Rats at Summer Radio Theatre!
We had nekkid people and Mary Dolan doing the Chicken Heart at Risqué Radio!
We broadcast the wonder and mystery of The Mask of Inanna to over 1,500 listeners and scored a regular spot on Boston Free Radio!
And we brought Katharine Hepburn (Hip Barn?) and The Headless Horseman to The Big Broadcast of 1954!

But hey, we have one more fun little thing. PMRP has teamed up with Eat@Jumbos to do an end-of-2011 celebration and fund-raiser. Much as we did last May, Eat@Jumbos will donate a portion of all sales on Tuesday Dec. 6th to PMRP. (alas online sales like Foodler do not count for the fundraiser)
But unlike this Spring, this time it includes dinner too! The deal is on from 11am to 10pm!

AND they will be stocking Byfar Coffee Soda all day as well. The Soda will be $2/bottle.

So this Tuesday give them a call or drop on by!

3rd-Nov-2011 08:36 pm - Sleepy Hollow photos
Me: taking pictures in Hawaii
I’ve posted my photos from the closing night of Sleepy Hollow on Flickr. (The Byfar photos are up, too.)
Me: at the beach in April 2012
Hi! I’m working on captioning _Sleepy Hollow_ pictures now, and there are a few performers whom I don’t recognize and can’t identify by their character in the program.

The tavern guest sitting to Bernie/Jacob’s left (house right) was Jeff Quinlan/Gerhard Kastien, right?

I know that despite what the program said, Peter de Glopper (am I spelling that right?) was one of the Foley artists, right? Did he step in for J. L. Woodward or for Catilin Mason? (I.e., were the Foley artists Peter, J.L., and Dewb, or Peter, Caitlin, and Dewb?)

The remaining two actors I can’t be sure of are Cilla Nijenhuis (Mary Ferrara) and Anke Rensink (Lori Salmeri). Which one was wearing the pink-and-white dress (pink on top with white trim; white skirt with pink trim)?

And who was the Jaggery performer playng (I think) the double bass or viola, with the cool skull makeup?

(The keyboardist house left, and the violinist sitting in front of her, were also barely visible in some shots, so their names might be helpful too, but I’m not sure I got any worthwhile shots of them.)

Thanks!
